The Department of Health was an Australian government department that existed between March 1921 and July 1987. In 1987, the Department of Health was merged with the Department of Community Services to form the Department of Community Services and Health. ==Scope== Information about the department's functions and/or government funding allocation could be found in the Administrative Arrangements Orders, the annual Portfolio Budget Statements and in the Department's annual reports.
